Changes that could be made to your study programme
Hello everyone, today I am going to talk to you about some
changes I would make to my study program. I am currently in my second year of
Architecture. The truth is that at the moment I feel a bit overwhelmed by the
academic load, I am close to the final exams of the theoretical courses and
there are very hard weeks ahead, so this topic appeared at the right time.
My experience these two years has been online because of the
pandemic and one of the modalities chosen this year was not to have the
theoretical courses and the workshop at the same time, which allows me to
concentrate my attention in a better way. In normal mode when it was
face-to-face, the theoretical courses and workshop were simultaneous, it is
certainly something that I would not like to experience when everything returns
to normal because I think it would be too much academic load. So I would like
to keep that change adopted in this context.
I went to the the faculty for the first time very recently, but
I have not spent a full day there, so I do not see so many shortcomings in
terms of infrastructure, but what I have noticed is there is a lack of more
comfortable spaces to rest during breaks.
The use of technology has been fundamental in these times of
pandemic, I have never had problems with that, I have learned a lot to use
programs to draw and model in 3D, it has been a great challenge, at the
beginning there were many organizational problems in terms of the online mode,
but over time it has improved a lot.
Despite everything, as a design student the separation of subjects has been a bit overwhelming for many of my classmates but I am glad that for you it has been less hard and has helped you focus in a better way, greetings.
